Clearing Internet Explorer Browser Cache

Perform the following procedure to clear the browser cache for currently supported versions of Internet Explorer (versions 9, 10, and 11).

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools in the toolbar.
  3. Click Internet Options.
  4. Click the General tab if not already displayed.
  5. Click Delete under Browsing History.

    6. Be sure the boxes for the data you want deleted are checked and click Delete again.

  6. Click the Settings under Browsing History.
  7. Be sure the box for Automatically is checked.
  8. Click OK to close the window.
  9. Click Apply to save your changes and OK to close the window.
