Clear Merchandise Products from Carts

To clear merchandise products from all Shopping Carts, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Accounting hyperlink on the Module Menu to launch the Accounting module.
  2. Click the Miscellaneous Actionsgroup item to display the list of available actions.
  3. Click the Clear Merchandise Products from Carts hyperlink.

This will open the Products in Carts window. This window displays ALL of the merchandise products currently in user's carts that have not been purchased.

  1. Select the items you wish to remove from all shopping carts by selecting the check box next to the item name. Selecting the Products check box will select (or deselect) all items on the list.
  2. By default, all items are selected when the Products in Carts window is opened.

  1. Click the Clear Carts button.

You may have an instance where just a certain item is out of stock and will not be back-ordered or has been discontinued and you wish to remove it from all carts. You can simply check the box next to that item and click the Clear Carts button to only remove that item from all shopping carts.

For example, in the image below, only the Abila Baseball Hat has been checked. When the Clear Carts button is clicked, only the Abila Baseball Hat will be removed from all carts. The other merchandise items listed will remain in the users carts.
