Adding a Note to an Award Profile

Add notes on an award program from an award profile. Notes are saved under the Notes child-form and can include any information that needs to be appended to the award profile. You may also opt to have desired notes appear in a pop-up window when the award profile is viewed.

Add an Award Note

To add an Award Note:

  1. Hover over the Modules tab in the top navigation bar. In the fly out menu, click Awards.
  2. On the Awards / Overview page, click Find Awards.

You may also access the Find Awards option by expanding the Awards group item and clicking Find Awards.

  1. Select the desired award to view the Award Profile.
  2. Click the Add Notes icon on the Award Profile.

  1. The Notes Information window will appear. In this window, enter the title of the note in the Subject field (required).
  2. In the Note text box, enter the body text of the note. Keep in mind that if you estimate that composing your note will take longer than 20 minutes, you are advised to copy and paste the notes from another application to prevent your session from expiring and thereby losing notes. See Refreshing an Expired Session for more information on session time-outs.

  1. To mark the note as high priority, click the check box next to High Priority.
  2. To cause the note text to appear in a pop-up window whenever the award profile is viewed, click the Popup on Profile check box. This will cause a pop-up window to appear each time the profile page is accessed. View the Help topic on Adding a Pop-Up Note to a Profile Page for more information.
  3. Click Save to save the information to the Award Profile. The new note entry will be visible under the Notes tab in the Notes child form. If the note was marked as high priority, this will be indicated under the Priority field.
