Setting Up an Award Entry Fee

An Award Entry Fee is set up as a Miscellaneous product.

  1. Set up a new Miscellaneous product as an Award Entry Fee, or navigate to an existing Award Entry Fee profile.
  2. On the Award Entry Fee Profile, click the Add Price button.

  1. To make the product available at this price for a limited time, enter a date range in the Effective From and Effective To date fields (not required).
  2. To allow only certain types of members to purchase this product at this price, select the type of membership from the Membership Type drop-down list (not required).
  3. To limit who can purchase this product at this price based on membership status (e.g., Active members only), select the Member Status from the drop-down list (not required).
  4. To offer a special rate to a customer based on how the customer originally came to the organization (e.g., special promotion) select a Record Source (not required).
  5. To offer a special price based on whether the customer is an individual or an organization, select either Individual or Organization from the Customer Type drop-down list (not required). After you select the Customer Type, you can further narrow who can purchase the product at this price by selecting an Individual Type or an Organization Type.

  1. Click Save.
