Controlling Tab Order and Field Size on Custom Forms

To create a more visually pleasing form, you can enlarge the data field or label box.  Click on the data field box as shown below. Grab the side of the box you would like to extend and drag.

You can also increase the height of the form by left-clicking and ’grabbing’ the bottom of the form with the cursor and dragging it to the desired height.

To assist in data entry for your staff and customers, you can determine the tab order of the data fields on the form. The Tab Order determines the sequence in which users will go from data field to data field when they click the Tab button on their keyboard. Click on Tab Order button to set a tab order for data entry.

The current tab order of the fields will be highlighted.

To modify the tab order, click on the highlighted tab field that you want to change and type the desired tab number for that field. Once the tab order has been completed, click Save Order.

Now that the form design and tab order are complete, click Save. You will be asked if you want to Save changes. Click OK. If you choose to Cancel, all changes made to this point will be reverted.
