Setting Up the Individual to Individual Drop-Down List

The Individual to Individual Relationship is the relationship of one individual to another individual. Related individuals could have a personal relationship (e.g., spouse/spouse, parent/child) or professional relationship (CEO/executive assistant). You can add an individual's relationship to another individual from the Individual Profile, Relationships child form.

The Individual to Individual Drop-down List

You can add, edit, or delete drop-down list items from the Individual to Individual Relationships list on the Relationship tab in CRM Setup.

To add a Relationship to the Individual to Individual Relationship Type drop-down list:

  1. Navigate to the CRM Overview page.
  2. On the Overview page, click Setup.
  1. On the Customer Information Profile page, select the Relationship tab.
  2. On the Individual to Individual Relationships child form, click the ADD button.
  3. In the Individual to Individual Relationship Type Information window, enter the Type/Role the individual might have to another individual.
  4. Click Save to add the relationship type to the Individual to Individual Relationship drop-down list in the application.

To edit a relationship:

  1. Click the edit button next to the relationship you would like to edit.
  2. Make your changes and click Save.

To delete a relationship from the drop-down list:

  1. Click the delete button next to the relationship you would like to delete.
  2. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
