Adding an Exam to a Certification Program

The Events module helps you set up and manage certification exam events, course sessions, registration fees, key dates (exam and registration dates and times), locations, speakers, exam event capacity, exam registration, course registration, and exam-related correspondence. You can also search for exams and exam registrants and post exam information on eWeb. (See Setting up the Certification Exams, Setting Up a Certification Course)

Exams are linked to a certification program from the Certification Program Profile and from the Certification Exam Profile.

To add an exam to a Certification Program:

  1. Go to the Certification Program Profile.
  2. Click the Events/Sessions tab.
  3. On the Events child form, click ADD.
  4. Select the Exam Name from the Event Title drop-down list.
  5. Enter the date the exam is available in the Start Date field (required).
  6. Enter an End Date, if desired (not required).
  7. Enter a Note, if desired (not required).

  1. Click Save. The exam is associated with the program.

You may also create the exam and associate the Certification Profile to the Exam from the Exam Profile.
