Reusing a Fundraising Source Code for a Fund

Once a source code has been created, it can be reused for other funds.

To assign a source code that has already been created to a fund, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to the fund profile of the fund to which you would like to add a source code.
2. Mouse-over the Actions icon to expand the Actions fly-out menu
3. Click the Add Source Code link. This will open the Source Code pop-up window.

4. Deselect the Generate New checkbox.

This will update the Source Code pop-up window and change the Source Code text field to a drop-down menu. This drop-down menu contains all of the other source codes that have previously been created.

 

5. Choose the desired source code from the Source Code drop-down menu.
6. Enter the text that will be hyperlinked in the messaging template in the Link Text field.
7. Click the Save button.

The fund profile will update and display the selected source code in the Source Code field on the fund profile.
