Reusing a Fundraising Source Code for a Campaign

Once a source code has been created, it can be reused for other campaigns.

To assign a source code that has already been created to a campaign, complete the following steps:

1. Follow the steps outlined in the Adding a Campaign to a Fund online help topic to add a campaign to your fund.
2. Click the Campaign tab on the fund profile to view the Campaign child form.
3. Expand the Campaign child form to view the list of campaigns added to the fund.
4. Click the GoTo icon next to the campaign name of the campaign to which you will be adding the source code. This will open the campaign profile page.

5. Click the Source Code button located on the campaign profile page..
6. Deselect the Generate New checkbox.

This will update the Source Code pop-up window and change the Source Code text field to a drop-down menu. This drop-down menu contains all of the other source codes that have previously been created.

 

7. Choose the desired source code from the Source Code drop-down menu.
8. Enter the text that will be hyperlinked in the messaging template in the Link Text field.
9. Click the Save button.

The campaign profile will update and display the selected source code in the Source Code field on the campaign profile.
