Setting Up the Speaker Types Drop-Down List

The speaker types are used to denote what category of speaker an individual will be for an event.

Example: Speaker Types: keynote speaker, guest speaker.

Speaker Management Overview

You can add , edit , or delete drop-down list items.

To add Speaker Types:

  1. Hover over the Modules tab in the top navigation bar. In the fly out menu, click Administration.
  2. Expand the Overview group item. Click Events Set Up.
  3. Click the Speakers tab to view its child forms.
  4. Click the expand icon next to the Speaker Types child form heading. This will display the current list of Speaker Types available.

  1. Click the Add icon. This will open the Speaker Type pop-up window.
  2. Enter the name of the new speaker type in the Speaker Type field.
  3. Click the Save button.

Tip:  You may also access Events Setup through the Events module > Overview group item > Overview and Setup hyperlink.

To edit a speaker type:

  1. Click the edit button next to the speaker type you would like to edit.
  2. Make your changes and click Save.

To delete a speaker type from the drop-down list:

  1. Click the delete button next to the speaker type you would like to delete.
  2. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
