Copying Subscription Information

If you have a subscription with similar data to an existing subscription, you can copy the subscription information using the Copy Subscription feature.

  1. Navigate to the Subscription Profile to be copied.
  2. Click Copy Subscription.

  1. In the Copy Subscription form, the name of the copied subscription will automatically populate the Copy From Subscription field (required). (If you want to select a different subscription, select it from the drop-down list.)
  2. Enter the New Subscription Code (required).
  3. Enter the New Subscription Name (required).
  4. Review the check boxes. You can choose whether or not to Copy Description, Prices, or Keywords.
To navigate to the new Subscription Profile after saving your data, leave the Take me to the new subscription's profile after copy is complete check box selected. This makes it easy for you to complete the setup of the subscription.
  1. Click Copy to create the new Subscription Profile.

The new Subscription Profile displays the message that the Subscription is Inactive and Not Available for Sale.

Changing Subscription Price Information

To change price details for the copied subscription:

  1. On the Subscription Profile, click the Price child form tab.
  2. Expand the Fee child form, and click the Edit icon next to the price to be edited.

  1. In the Price Information form, edit the Price Code and Fee information, as necessary.
  2. Click the Available Online check box to make the subscription available in the Online Store.
  3. Enter the dates that you want the subscription to be available in the Online Store in the Sell Online From and To fields.
  4. Click Save.

Activating the Copied Subscription

To activate the subscription and make it available in the Shopping Cart or Online Store:

  1. On the Subscription Profile, click the Edit button.

  1. In the Subscription Information form, clear the Inactive check box to make the subscription available in the Shopping Cart.
    1. Enter the dates for the subscription to be available in the Shopping Cart in the Subscription Available From and To fields.
  2. Click the Sell Online check box to make the subscription available in the Online Store.

  1. Click Save. The Subscription Information form will close—note that the "Subscription is Inactive" message no longer appears on the Subscription Profile.
    The subscription will now appear in the Online Store. If a Sell Online From date is set up on the Subscription Profile, the subscription will be posted on that date. If a Sell Online To date is set up, the subscription will be removed from the Online Store on that date.
