The Membership Tab
Membership information for a customer displays on the Organization Profile or Individual Profile under the Membership tab. Several different child forms may appear under the Membership tab depending upon the settings for your entity. They include:
Membership: After the individual or organization pays for the membership, the information displays on the Membership child form. Notice the status, effective date, expiration date, and original join date are also present for each membership. The Primary membership for those entities that allow multiple memberships is also noted.
Dues Orders: When a membership is added, before payment is made (e.g., for proforma invoices), the membership information will show on the Individual Profile or Organization Profile on the Dues Orders child form.
Recurring Payment: This child form will only be present for those entities that have recurring renewal memberships enabled. This means that customers may specify that their memberships be renewed on a recurring basis. Information about those payments appear on this child form such as the pay period, the next payment date, total billed, and so forth.
Membership Log: Any changes to the membership, for example a change in membership status, are tracked on the Membership Log child form. The Membership Log child form tracks member type, status, join date, rejoin date, renew/effective date, expire date, terminate date, add user and add date information.
The Membership Flowdown child form shows membership flowdown information, if applicable.
