Disabling eWeb Single Sign On Options for MemberFuse Activated Groups

eWeb SSO options have been enabled for the convenience of the customer so they do not have to continually sign on to the social community and may use frequently used eWeb sections to go directly to the MemberFuse section needed instead. They include:

An additional eWeb SSO object includes:

However, there may come a time when eWeb SSO links may need to be hidden from your Web Site. You may do so by using the DisableSocialCommunityLink Web Site System Option. Disabling this system option will hides the links to the social community from the above sections and the ability to immediately log-in without signing in again. This allows you to continue working on your social community sections after integration with it before launching it, for example. You may then re-enable the system option when you are ready to launch your social community site.

Important: Once the system option has been disabled (or re-enabled), users will need to log out and exit the browser to see the change.  Further, this does not remove users from the social community itself.

To disable the DisableSocialCommunityLink system option:

  1. Go to the Web Site module and click on the Overview Group Item.

  1. On the Web Site System Options child form, click the Go To arrow next to the DisableSocialCommunityLink system option to go to the system option profile.
  2. Click the Edit button to edit the system option value from 0 (false) to 1 (true) by selecting the check box.

  1. Once the check box is selected, the system option profile will then display a 1 to show that it is now true.

  1. Note that with this system option set to true, eWeb SSO links are now gone as with the Individual Directory below (and all other groups that have been socialized for SSO functionality.  For more information on eWeb SSO links, see eWeb SSO Options for MemberFuse Activated Groups.)
