The Product Type Drop-Down List

A product type is a type of goods or service provided by an organization. Examples of product types include consulting services, training services, equipment rental, and publishing. Add product type information from the Organization Profile screen, under the Products child form. To view the product type drop-down list and add a product to the organization profile:

1. Navigate to the Organization Profile.
2. Click the Other child form tab.
3. Under the Products child form, click Add . The Organization product information window will appear.

4. In the Organization product information pop-up window, select a Product Type from the drop-down menu (required).  (To add options to the Product Type menu, see: Setting Up the Product Type Drop-Down List.)

5. Enter a Product Name (required).
6. Enter a Description.
7. Click Save. The new product will be listed under the Products child form.
