Setting Up an Automatic Clearing House (ACH) Payment Method

You can set up Automatic Clearing House (ACH) as a payment method. ACH allows customers to make payments from their checking or savings account.

ACH is a separate PayPal application from the credit card process application. If you wish to set up the PayPal account with ACH, you should contact your PayPal representative. The application process for ACH takes 7 to 10 business days to process. The fees associated with ACH payment processing depend on the level of risk on an account. The average annual fee ranges from $500 to $995 with a per transaction fee of 50 cents. ACH payment processing can also be set-up as a payment method if you use Authorize.net.
