Setting the Country on the Client Information Form

Accounting Set-Up provides the option to set the United States or Canada as the country on the Client Information form.

To access the Client Information form:

  1. Click the Accounting hyperlink on the Module Menu to launch the Accounting module.
  2. Click the Setup hyperlink located on the Accounting Overview page.

  1. Expand the Account Information child form.
  2. Click the Edit icon next to the account you wish to edit.

This will open the Account Information pop-up window.

  1. Expand the Country drop-down menu and select the desired country.

When you select United States as your country, the State field becomes a drop-down menu that lists all of the states. When you select Canada as your country, the State drop-down lists provinces that you may choose as well. This is demonstrated in the image below.

Finally, note that this is part of the client entity creation tool which is also the same form Abila Support uses to add or edit customers.
