Setting Up a Wait List for an Event or Session

You can set up an event or session so that people who try to register for the event or session after it has reached capacity are added to a wait list.

Important: You must set up wait list functionality before anyone registers for the event, or you will not be able to use this feature.

To set up Wait List capability for an Event:

  1. When adding an event, select the Restrict Capacity check box.
  2. Indicate the number of available registration slots in the Capacity field.
  3. Select the Allow Wait List Purchases check box.
  4. Add any additional information.
  5. Click Save.

To set up Wait List capability for a Session:

  1. When adding a session, select the Restrict Capacity check box.
  2. Indicate the number of available registration slots in the Capacity field.
  3. Select the Allow Wait List check box.
  4. Add any additional information.
  5. Click Save.

You can add someone to a full event or session by increasing the capacity.
