Tracking Scores and Grades for Events and Sessions

Select the Track Scores/Grades check box to track scores and/or grades for an event or session registrant.

Tip:  If you track scores or grades for exams or courses, you may want to set up additional Event Types for Exam and Course.

The Track Scores information shows on the Event Profile, in the Additional Information section.

Registrant Profile Score and Grade Fields

When an individual registers for an event or session through the Shopping Cart, a Registrant Profile is created. If the Score and Grade fields were set up for that event or session, those fields will appear on the Registrant Profile. If the Track Grades/Score check box was not selected during the event or session setup, the Score and Grade fields will not appear on the Registrant Profile.

After the Event or Session is over and the Scores and Grades have been submitted, you can click the Edit button on the Registrant Profile where you will be able to add the Score and select the Grade (Pass or Fail).

Note: The Score field only allows integers. If the score is in decimal format, you will need to round the score.

After you finish editing and click Save, you will see the Score and Grade on the Registrant Profile, shown below.

Note: The Score and Grade fields do not show online. They are not accessible for the online user to add a score or grade to an event or session.

To track scores and grades on an Event Session:

  1. Add a new Session. You may also Edit a current session from the Session Profile.
  2. Select the Track Scores/Grades flag. This will allow the Score and Grade fields to appear on the Session Registrant Profile. You may then edit those fields once the session has been attended just as you do the Event Registrant Profile described above.
